This is a pivotal time in our co-op's development as our community programming continues to grow, as our community partnerships and benefits of membership expand, and as we are now taking the very concrete steps of moving into our first Co-operative Community Health Center space, hopefully by Fall 2010!
Our Annual General Meeting is May 15, 2010 and we need all of our members present to discuss and ask questions about our move towards a health center space and a significant expansion of our clinical services and education programming! If you are not yet a member, please do BECOME A MEMBER BY APRIL 15th AT THE LATEST!!
With significant public cuts to health care and worsening access to health services in our city, our health co-op offers a home grown solution that can pave the way for an evolution in how health care is delivered! A model that is based on community empowerment, education on health promotion and disease prevention, and an integrative primary health care model that creates access to multidisciplinary teams of health care providers.WE NEED YOU to participate in our co-operative and to make this important vision a reality!
